CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Seeking expressions of interest for a supervision group offered in 2025. This monthly supervision group for clinical psychology registrars will focus on client case presentations and skills demonstrations, as determined by the group’s needs. Depending on interests, areas covered can include process-based case conceptualisation, integrating techniques from different modalities to enhance intervention effectiveness, development of therapeutic skills and knowledge, working with clients from CALD backgrounds, and specific topics such as anxiety, perfectionism, etc. Commencing from February 2025, the 1.5-hour Zoom sessions are scheduled for the first Monday of the month, starting at 5:30pm. The fee per session is $100 (+GST). The group will have a maximum of 6 supervisees.
ABOUT ME
Eileen's supervision approach involves being affable, engaging, and not averse to using humour, when guiding supervisees in self-reflective practice while equipping them with professional skills and knowledge in adult therapy. She has experience working with adult clients in diverse mental health settings, with particular interests in anxiety, perfectionism, integrating techniques from evidence-based modalities to enhance treatment effectiveness, and working with clients from CALD backgrounds. Modalities that she draws from in her clinical practice include cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, compassion-focussed therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, amongst others.
